Mobile Tips
Same actions map to on-screen buttons, remappable in Settings.
Pro tip: Separate block and attack into different thumb zones. Keep dodge near your movement thumb. The default layout stacks attack and block too close together.
Combat Mechanics
Posture System
Blocking drains a posture bar. If it empties, you're guard-broken and stunned for ~2 seconds, open to a full combo.
Heavy Attacks Unblockable
M2/heavy attacks cannot be blocked. Only answers: well-timed parry, dodge, or hitting first.
Parry
Tap F right as a hit lands (facing attacker). No damage, no posture loss, stuns attacker for a free punish. Most important PvP skill.
Dodge i-frames
Q dodge grants invincibility frames. Costs no stamina. Use to escape M2 pressure.
Height Scaling
M1 damage and hitbox scale with character height. Taller = bigger hitbox but slower.
Universal Combo
Punch → Punch → Slam → Stomp. Works on every fighting style. Never skip the stomp — it's free grounded damage.

Can I remap Gakuran controls?
Yes. On PC, check Settings for keybind options. On mobile, you can drag and remap on-screen buttons. For controller, some buttons can be swapped in Settings.
What is the combat stance key — R or T?
Different guides report different keys. Both R and T have been reported across community sources. Test both in a safe area and check your Settings menu after each update, as patches can remap actions.
How does the posture system work?
Blocking drains a posture bar. If it empties, you are guard-broken and stunned for about 2 seconds, leaving you open to a full combo. Block in short taps rather than holding, and weave to reset.
